Introduction

Metal-air battery has become one of the most promising clean energy because of high energy density, portable, no pollution to environment, etc. The catalytic activity and service life of the air electrode is the main factor that restricts the development of metal-air batteries. Thus, improving the air electrode catalytic activity and service life is crucial to achieve environmental friendly, efficient and economic transformation of metal-air battery technology. At present, platinum is the main catalyst. However, the resource and price constraints restricted the metal-air battery industrialization process. This project mainly focuses on synthesis of manganese catalyst and bi-functional perovskite-type catalyst, in order to improve the catalytic activity and service life of air electrode, optimization of the air electrode preparation process to realize the continuous preparation of air electrode.
