Material and Industrial Technology Research Institute Beijing (MITBJ) was founded on April 17, 2013. It is a Beijing government-owned research institute which aims at nanomaterials development and nanotechnology industrialization. MITBJ holds the principles of joint development, results sharing, and environmental protection, striving to achieve world-top R&D strength and efficient lab-to-industry transformation. We are promoting the scientific and technological research to develop new-materials industrialization and provide the source of power for upgrading traditional industries.
The main researches of MITBJ include carbon nanotube industrial-scale production, nano dispersion and industrial technology; application of nanomaterials in functional products, bio-engineering, environmental purification, and electronic devices; as well as development of novel fuel batteries. In addition, we also focus on future industrial technologies, the incubation of high-tech companies, and providing professional services for enterprises.
MITBJ has established a comprehensive management system, a series of unique research methods, and possessed the leading technical positions in the domain of new-materials R&D and industrialization. MITBJ owns well-educated, vigorous and assiduous research teams. Some of them have already experienced in major projects such as the National 12th Five Year Plan, 973 research projects, 863 research projects and Beijing Municipal Science and Technology projects. To date, MITBJ has gained a series of achievements with the support of government. On May 5, 2014, the 1st press conference of technical achievements was successfully held.
Institute adhere to the "government guidance, enterprise participation and market operation" principle, stick to the purpose of committing to the field of new materials technology, promoting in-depth cooperation between industry and research institute, and encouraging scientific and technological industry incubator, dedicated to raise the independently innovation ability on novel materials and contribute to the industrialization of novel technologies in Beijing.
